A MOUTHFUL OF DIΔMONDS

Like no other

I’d just read a friend’s blog post on her countdown to NYC and couldn’t help but to feel my heart sink inside. It felt like my heart knew where it wanted to be yet it couldn’t be there. If you follow me on Twitter, you’d know how much I truly enjoyed being in NYC and how much I miss it. I miss it everyday. I went to NYC expecting what most tourists would’ve expected: Times Square, The Empire State Building, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, Fifth Avenue, SoHo, The Museum of Natural History, and so on. These were just some of the places we visited, but SoHo really did it for me. I will never forget the rush of adrenaline and excitement all at once when I got out of Spring Street Station. I was so overwhelmed by the sights and buildings surrounding me that in that moment, I knew I was sold. I knew New York City had me right there. And in that same moment my love for one of the most populous metropolitan city in the world grew so much more.

New York City is truly a beautiful place. I know I sound obsessed with the city, but I can’t help it.
